This will be my 16th year in the Renwick District. My mission is to create a safe, engaging, and academically challenging learning environment. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and a Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction, specializing in English as a Second Language, from Newman University. I began her teaching career at Saint Jude Catholic School and later Holy Spirit Catholic School, earning the Golden Apple Award from Kake TV and establishing a lasting fall festival. I have dedicated 20 years to elementary education. I hold a Masters + 40 and 477 unallocated seat hours. In addition to teaching, I coach 8th-grade volleyball, and have in the past served on building level teams, and taken on roles as a school Local Education Agency representative, district professional development representative, mentor for local high school Teaching as a Career students, and college practicum mentor. I am also a successful online seller of educational resources, having sold nearly 14,000 lesson plans and taught English to 3,515 Chinese students in 737 online classes. Beyond the classroom, I write grants for classroom funding and conduct a weekly Bible study at the Wichita Work Release Facility. I wish to foster a strong sense of community among colleagues and actively participate in her local and state National Education Association. I have one son, Wyatt, who will be a senior at Andale High School this year. I love family and can't wait to make the students at CES a part of mine. I attend Sacred Heart Church and can't wait to name all the little faces.
